rysasahrialBeatmapVisionPro is an innovative open-source project that brings Beat Saber maps to life on the Apple Vision Pro. As the successor to BeatmapAR for iOS, this application leverages Swift and RealityKit to provide an immersive augmented reality experience.
Designed for developers and AR enthusiasts, BeatmapVisionPro requires Xcode 15.2 or newer with the visionOS SDK 1.0 installed. The project utilizes several dependencies, including weichsel/ZIPFoundation for handling ZIP files, and incorporates Ogg version 1.3.4 and Vorbis 1.3.7 for audio decoding.
The beatmap definitions are based on the lolPants/beatmap-schemas, ensuring compatibility with existing Beat Saber maps. Additionally, the application features the Beat Saber Cube model created by Jordan Johnston, enhancing the visual authenticity of the experience.
BeatmapVisionPro is currently a work in progress, inviting contributions from the developer community. Its open-source nature under the MIT license encourages collaboration and innovation in the AR and VR development space.
